WHY?

Gender Equality is still a challenge in the leadership of European sport organisations (See the baseline report). In order to support and promote a more balanced sport governance, the SWOL project has developed this LABEL around good practices to be created or reinforced. Following a survey which highlighted a number of good practices, we want to share them in the reusable GOOD PRACTICES GUIDE.

    FOR WHOM? SPORTS CLUBS

The LABEL must create dynamism among its target organisations which are sports clubs.

      HOW? IN 2 STEPS

1st step: Signature of the CHARTER OF COMMITMENT, necessary for the application to be accepted.

2nd step: Fill out the APPLICATION FORM

It will help us evaluate the club’s commitment through the actions that have already been implemented or that are being developed. This evaluation will enable us to award:

A GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE label

Thus, you will be able to enter a process of progression and re-apply for a higher label in the following years.

The GOOD PRACTICES GUIDE will help you build your actions.

THIS LABEL WILL ALLOW THE CLUB:

      • To access better visibility on the website and social networks because the club will be listed on the SWoL website in the directory of European Labeled Clubs.

      • To receive the SWOL label branding that can be used on all communication media and at the club’s place of activity.

      • To contribute, by setting an example, to the effort made in all sports structures in Europe to ensure that women and men have equal access to management positions. The club will be an ambassador.
